The Blue Collar No Prep Class is built for modified diesel trucks ready to step things up while keeping the competition street-truck focused. Please review the eligibility and safety requirements below before purchasing your competitor entry.

Turbo Allowances

S300 / S400: 72mm maximum compressor wheel
Compounds: 64mm HP with 76mm LP
Factory VGT with Compounds: Must retain the factory VGT
6.4L Power Stroke: May run compounds OR S300/S400 within the allowed sizing
S467 Cummins: Welcome in the Blue Collar class

Turbo Requirements

Factory VGT trucks running compounds must retain the factory VGT on the manifold
This applies to 6.0L Power Stroke, 6.7L Power Stroke, VGT Cummins, and VGT Duramax

Vehicle & Drivetrain Requirements

Diesel trucks, vans, and Excursions only
Vehicle must be a production vehicle originally equipped with a diesel engine
No cars or car-based chassis conversions
Single high-pressure injection pump only
No limitations on lift pump systems
2WD only
4WD trucks may compete, but the front driveshaft must be removed — no exceptions

Tire Requirements

Street tires only with a minimum 400 treadwear rating
No slicks or drag radials
M/T, R/T, H/T, and A/T tires are permitted if rated 400+ treadwear

Safety Requirements

Fire jacket required in addition to standard safety gear

Launch & Race Format

1/8-mile No Prep
Instant green; flashlight start may be used
Non-boosted launches only
At the starting line, the truck must be in Drive and idling at no more than 800 RPM before launch
Leaving early = loss
Crossing the center line = loss
One burnout permitted — 5-second maximum

6.4L Power Stroke: Stock-size billet wheels only
Common Rail (Duramax, 6.7 Power Stroke, 5.9 & 6.7 Cummins): Up to 64mm drop-in turbo
6.0L Power Stroke & 12V/P-Pump Cummins: Up to 68mm drop-in turbo
7.3L Power Stroke & VP44 Cummins: Up to 68mm drop-in turbo

Turbo Requirements

Single turbo only
VGT-equipped trucks must retain a VGT turbo
No compounds unless factory equipped
No T4 swap kits
No S300 or S400 swap kits
Turbo must be a readily available drop-in style that can be purchased through an online retailer — no custom one-off turbos
MAP groove must be smaller than 0.200"
No removable plugs or bushings — all must be welded
