About Oscar Velasquez

Hi my name is Oscar Velasquez and I driver El Manzano (The Apple) for our racing team V-BROS RACING. Our team consists of my brother Alfred Velasquez crew chief and head mechanic, Jefrie Velasquez welder and fabricator and Henry Velasquez manager and logistics coordinator.We built a 1957 kenworth drag racing semi truck that is powered by a mechanical 855 Cummins Big Cam making 1779hp to the wheels on all fuel and over 2000hp with nitrious. Behind all that power is a custom built fuller 10 speed that we modify to hold all that power. We are 2023 and 2025 NHRDA World Champions and currently hold the mph record on the 1/4 mile at 128.53mph. Our racing team all started with the love of semi trucks that our father own and we began to take shows and racing big rig events. We are a God loving and tight family oriented racing team that are always trying to represent our sponsors and future sponsors to the highest quality level of racing. We hope to bring a competitive and fast racing semi truck to every event we go to and hope to evolve our racing truck to a faster level with the help of new technology and any company's that are will to work with us. We also hope to gain more fans with all the accomplishments that we have set for our team this year in been a top competitor in our class.
